The historic festival of Camposampiero dedicated to strawberries, fruit and vegetables, and floriculture
With its 54 editions, the Strawberry, Fruit and Flower Festival is a historic event for Camposampiero (province of Padua). Created to showcase the horticultural and floricultural excellence of the Camposampiero area, the event combines the agricultural dimension with that of a large popular festival, enlivening the city center for ten days between Campo Marzio and Piazza Castello.
The heart of the festival is the market exhibition of horticultural and floricultural products, alongside direct sales of strawberries. The food stand offers local recipes, featuring the famous strawberry risotto, as well as grilled meats and Venetian specialties. There is no shortage of entertainment, live music, and activities for children.
Among the most anticipated events are the Great Day of Tradition with the historical parade starting from Villa Campello, accompanied by a band and majorettes, and the election of Miss Strawberry. A festival that intertwines peasant identity, spectacle, and community, confirming itself as one of the most cherished spring events in the province of Padua.
The 2026 edition of the Strawberry, Fruit and Flower Festival, the 54th, takes place in Camposampiero from May 8th to 17th, between Campo Marzio and Piazza Castello. Ten days of market exhibition of horticultural and floricultural products, strawberry sales, food stand with strawberry risotto, live music, and activities for all ages.
Among the main events, Sunday, May 10th features the Great Day of Tradition with the historical parade starting from Villa Campello (band, majorettes, and costumed figures), and Sunday, May 17th, the concert by the N.A.M.E. band, organized by the Accademia Filarmonica. During the festival, the election of Miss Strawberry also takes place.
