StraPonte is the spring event for the non-competitive walk in Ponte San Pietro, a municipality in the Isola Bergamasca area, province of Bergamo. The event offers three hilly routes of different lengths, 8, 15, and 19 kilometers, to welcome both those looking for a quiet walk with company and those who want to test their legs on a more challenging course.

The non-competitive format is what makes StraPonte a truly popular event: you walk or run without rankings or stopwatches, enjoying the views and the festive atmosphere. The meeting point is set for early morning, with staggered starts in the early hours, while refreshment points are planned along the routes and at the finish line for participants.

StraPonte is not just a sporting event: the proceeds from registrations are entirely donated to charity, giving concrete meaning to the day. The event attracts a maximum of one thousand participants, a sign of an event that has become rooted in the life of the town and capable of uniting associations, families, and volunteers around a common goal.
