All of Brugherio on the move

StraBrugherio is the non-competitive run-walk in Brugherio, in the province of Monza and Brianza, organised by the local Pro Loco. A traditional spring event, it attracts hundreds of participants each year who joyfully take over the streets of the town centre.

Start and finish in Piazza Roma

The heart of the event is Piazza Roma, closed to traffic for the occasion, from where the routes start and where the walk concludes. It's designed as a walk open to everyone, suitable for families with children, groups of friends, and walkers of all ages, under the slogan "Let's walk together".

Sport, dogs, and conviviality

StraBrugherio dedicates a special space for dogs and their owners, in collaboration with the canine association ConFido Brugherio, inviting them to walk together with their four-legged friends. More than a race, it's a community celebration that combines movement, socialising, and attachment to the local area, with the Pro Loco orchestrating a day of popular sport.

A spring tradition

The Pro Loco of Brugherio has been organising StraBrugherio for many years, making it one of the events that kick off the good season in the town. The decision to close Piazza Roma and the town centre streets to traffic gives the heart of Brugherio back to the citizens for a few hours, who cross it on foot amidst music and entertainment. It's a simple and tested formula, capable of bringing together different generations: children with their parents, sports groups, the elderly, and, of course, dogs with their owners. The event confirms the Pro Loco's role as a driving force for the associative and festive life of the town in the province of Monza and Brianza.
