The run that unites Brescia

Strabrescia is the oldest city run-walk in Brescia and one of the most cherished events of the sporting spring in the capital of the Province of Brescia. Born as a popular event open to all, it has maintained its original spirit over time: not an elite competition, but a collective celebration where participation and the pleasure of being together matter.

Three routes for every level

The event offers three competitive routes of 7, 14, and 19 kilometres, designed to involve runners of all levels of experience, from the most trained to those who prefer to walk at a leisurely pace. The routes cross the city, offering participants a different perspective of Brescia, through streets, parks, and neighbourhoods.

Sport and solidarity

Strabrescia is organised by UISP Brescia together with the Centro Bresciano Down, with the collaboration of Cral Spedali Civili and the support of numerous local sponsors. The strong link with the Centro Bresciano Down gives the run a solidarity dimension: participating also means supporting a social project rooted in the Brescia community.

A morning of celebration

The start is from the Centro Polivalente in Via Collebeato, where the event area opens in the early morning hours. With music, refreshment points, and a festive atmosphere, Strabrescia transforms a Sunday in May into an unmissable event for thousands of people from Brescia of all ages.
