About St. Patrick on the Cusio

St. Patrick on the Cusio is a festival dedicated to Irish culture and music, held in Briga Novarese on the shores of Lake Orta, in the heart of the Cusio area near Novara. Organized by Claddagh Fest in collaboration with the local Pro Loco and Bar In, the event brings live Celtic music concerts, Irish dancing, Irish and craft beers, food stalls, and a craft market to the town's Oratory. A weekend of celebration in the spirit of St. Patrick, blending Irish atmosphere with Piedmontese hospitality.

St. Patrick on the Cusio: Ireland comes to Briga Novarese

St. Patrick on the Cusio is the festival that brings the spirit of St. Patrick and the colors of Ireland to Briga Novarese, a small town in the Cusio area nestled among the rolling hills between Lake Orta and the Novara plains, in the province of Novara, in the heart of Piedmont. For two days, the town's Oratory transforms into a corner of Ireland filled with live music, traditional dance, beer, and conviviality.

A festival of Celtic culture and music

The event is organized by Claddagh Fest, the association that has been promoting Celtic music, art, and culture in the Novara area for years, together with the Pro Loco of Briga Novarese and Bar In. The goal is to introduce the Cusio public to Irish traditions through a program that weaves together concerts, dance, gastronomy, and social gatherings in a festive atmosphere suitable for all ages.

Live music and Irish dancing

The heart of St. Patrick on the Cusio is live Irish and folk music, with bands from the Northern Italian Celtic scene taking turns on stage. There is also space for Irish dancing, with beginner lessons that allow everyone to try their hand at traditional steps, as well as entertainment and workshops designed for families and children.

Beer, flavors, and a craft market

  • Irish and craft beers on tap, served at the festival stalls;
  • Food stalls managed by the Pro Loco, featuring dishes and specialties to enjoy in good company;
  • Craft market with exhibitors and Celtic-themed creations;
  • A convivial atmosphere typical of Piedmontese village festivals, infused with the warmth of Irish hospitality.

Briga Novarese and the Cusio area

Located between Lake Orta and Borgomanero, Briga Novarese is an ideal stop for discovering the Cusio, a land of lakes, rural oratories, and local traditions. St. Patrick on the Cusio is an opportunity to experience the town in a festive and international light, combining the discovery of the Novara region with the charm of Irish culture.
