The Spring of Young Talents

The Spring Festival is the event that the Petit Soleil association brings to Trieste in spring: a week of performances, exhibitions, and concerts where the city becomes the setting for events designed and produced by young people, with free admission for everyone. An opportunity to support the development of youth creativity and talent and to witness the birth of new ideas and new voices.

A Product of the Spring Labs

The organization, communication, and programming of the festival originate from the Spring Labs: artistic, cultural, and theatrical workshops held in collaboration with IRES FVG and ENAIP FVG as part of the "Attiva Giovani" program, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Young people are not only protagonists on stage but also personally manage the entire organizational machinery.

A Widespread Celebration in the City Centre

The events — theater, dance, music, visual arts — take place in various locations in the center of Trieste, transforming the city into a shared space for artistic expression. Free admission to all events makes the festival accessible and open to a broad, intergenerational audience.

Petit Soleil, a Trieste Story

Founded in Trieste in 1995, Petit Soleil is a theater company that has been working on youth training and creativity for years. The Spring Festival is the showcase of this commitment: a collective workshop that returns the freshness and energy of the new generations to the city.
