About Spring Festival
Cipresso celebrates spring
The Spring Festival is the village fair of the hamlet of Cipresso, in the Municipality of Bastia Umbra (province of Perugia). It is held at the beginning of June, along Via Madrid and in the center of the hamlet, to celebrate the arrival of the warm season with food, music, and dancing.
Umbrian cuisine and dining tables
The heart of the festival are the food stalls with typical Umbrian dishes, served by volunteers from the organizing committee. The tables under the stars welcome families, friends, and visitors from all over the Bastia Umbra and Assisi area every evening.
Dancing and youth area
The fun is divided between dancing evenings animated by live orchestras – ballroom and group dancing – and a youth area with DJs and music groups, designed for the younger audience. A formula that allows different generations to coexist, from 7:30 PM until late at night.
A community festival
Now in its "2.0" edition, the Cipresso Spring Festival is an event cherished by the hamlet's community, an example of the vibrant tradition of village festivals that characterizes the territory of Bastia Umbra and the entire Region of Umbria.

For 2026, the hamlet of Cipresso confirms its Spring Festival, from June 1st to 7th along Via Madrid. The format includes food stalls with typical Umbrian cuisine, dancing evenings with live orchestras, and a youth area with DJs and music groups, from 7:30 PM until late at night.
Programme Spring Festival 2026
The evening program for 2026, including the names of the orchestras and youth area guests, will be released by the organizing committee on the festival's channels in the weeks prior.
The usual structure includes every evening, approximately from 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM:
- Opening of the food stalls with typical Umbrian dishes

Cipresso is a hamlet in the Municipality of Bastia Umbra (PG), reachable from the E45 highway and the state road to Assisi. The Bastia Umbra train station is nearby.
