The Easter market on the Riviera del Conero seafront
The Spring Festival is one of the most anticipated events in the calendar for Numana, a seaside town in the Province of Ancona, in the Marche region, overlooking the picturesque Riviera del Conero. The event traditionally coincides with the Easter long weekend, between Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, and symbolically marks the beginning of the warm season along the Marche coast. It is a large open-air market that enlivens both the Numana seafront and the lively hamlet of Marcelli.
For two full days, from 8 in the morning until 11 at night, dozens of stalls are set up along the northern seafront of Numana and along Via Litoranea in Marcelli, transforming the waterfront into a long open-air shopping route. The stalls offer a varied selection:
Strolling among the stands, with the Conero sea as a backdrop, is the ideal way to discover the new season's offerings and shop outdoors.
Alongside the commercial stalls, a dedicated area for street food and gastronomic specialties complements the stroll with quick and delicious flavors. The festival has a strong family focus: there are plenty of games and bouncy castles for children, and the presence of street artists who liven up the seafront with music and shows. It's a perfect opportunity to spend the holidays outdoors, combining shopping with fun and the classic Easter Monday outing.
Organized by the Municipality of Numana, the Spring Festival attracts thousands of people each year, including residents and tourists, becoming one of the first major seasonal attractions on the Riviera del Conero. For visitors, the event is also an excellent opportunity to rediscover Numana and Marcelli before the peak of the summer season, exploring the village overlooking the sea, the beaches of the Conero Park, and the lively atmosphere of the festive seafront.
The 2026 Spring Festival was held in Numana on Saturday, April 5th, and Sunday, April 6th, coinciding with the Easter long weekend, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Along the northern seafront of Numana and Via Litoranea in Marcelli, visitors found a rich array of stalls offering clothing, footwear, crafts, leather goods, and homewares, alongside a dedicated street food area and gastronomic specialties.
