Sounds and Flavors Under the Stars

The 2025 edition of Sounds and Flavors Under the Stars took place on Sunday, August 10th, as always on the night of San Lorenzo. The small village in the Sabina region was transformed for one evening into an enchanted stage: in the four main squares, the Pro Loco Vacone stalls served local specialties — fried pizza with cold cuts and cheeses, potato gnocchi with mutton ragù, grilled meats, and artisanal desserts — while in each square, local artists offered different musical genres, from the most traditional to the most contemporary. The full menu cost 20 euros. The evening, promoted on the official website of the Municipality of Vacone, attracted families, couples, and tourists from Lazio, Umbria, and even abroad, as it does every year, confirming itself as one of the most beloved food and wine events of the summer in the province of Rieti.
