Five days of spirituality, culture, and art in Milan
The SOUL Festival of Spirituality is a city-wide festival that brings to Milan (Province of Milan, Lombardy) a collective reflection on the spiritual dimension of existence, open to believers and non-believers alike. Promoted by the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and the Archdiocese of Milan, with Intesa Sanpaolo as the main partner, the event intertwines thought, art, and faith in a journey that traverses the city's most beautiful and symbolic locations.
The third edition, from March 18 to 22, 2026, revolves around the theme "Mystery, the Song of the World". Five intense days with over 70 events — discussions, lectures, round tables, and artistic performances — spread across theatres, museums, and churches in Milan. Bringing the festival to life are more than 80 international speakers, including writer Javier Cercas, pianist Antonio Ballista, philosopher Roberto Casati, actor Lino Guanciale, and Cardinals José Tolentino de Mendonça and Jean-Paul Vesco.
The program touches extraordinary locations: the dawn meditation on the terraces of the Duomo, monastic dinners at the Refettorio Ambrosiano, poetry cycles and screenings at Cinema Anteo, collaborations with the Piccolo Teatro di Milano, and the SOUL Young program at the ADI Design Museum. A geography that makes the festival an immersive experience, capable of uniting great culture with the places of city life.
With its widespread format and the quality of its speakers, the SOUL Festival has established itself in just a few editions as one of the most original cultural events in Milan's spring calendar, capable of attracting a broad and diverse audience.
