The summer lake festival in Sesto

The Sommerparkfest, also known as the Summer Lake Festival, is one of the most beloved summer events in Sesto/Sexten, in the Upper Puster Valley. It takes place by the small lake located at the end of Via del Parco, in the green area between the hamlets of Moso and Sesto, in a natural setting at the foot of the Sesto Dolomites. The festival stems from the voluntary commitment of the Bergtoifl Sexten group, a local association, together with the AFC Sexten football team, who handle the organization and hospitality every year.

Two evenings of conviviality

The event spans two days, starting from 6:00 PM onwards. The schedule includes a vast side program designed for all ages, from children to adults, with the informal and genuine atmosphere typical of South Tyrolean village festivals. Participation is intended to bring together the local community and guests vacationing in the Puster Valley in an open-air festive atmosphere.

Tyrolean specialties and live music

The main attraction is Tyrolean gastronomy: the stands managed by volunteers offer traditional South Tyrolean specialties, accompanied by beer and drinks. Adding to the lively atmosphere are various musical bands and groups that alternate on stage with live music, for a festival that combines mountain flavors with popular entertainment. The evening by the lake, with the mountains in the background, is one of the most evocative moments of the Sesto summer.

A charity-oriented event

Like many festivals organized by volunteer associations in Trentino-Alto Adige, the Sommerparkfest also has a social value: the proceeds support the activities of the Bergtoifl Sexten group and AFC Sexten, contributing to the associative and sporting life of the Municipality of Sesto. Participating therefore means experiencing a festive evening while supporting the local community fabric.
