Solbiate a Tutta Birra is the beer festival that enlivens Solbiate Olona, a municipality in the Olona Valley in the Province of Varese, every July. Born to promote beer culture and summer conviviality, the event has grown edition after edition to become one of the most beloved appointments in the area: eight evenings spread over two weekends, dedicated to craft beer, good food, and live music.

Craft Beers

The heart of the festival is the craft beers from the best microbreweries in the area. Recent editions have featured breweries such as Birrificio Italiano (Lurago Marinone), Orso Verde (Busto Arsizio), and The Wall (Venegono Inferiore), with a selection of a dozen beers on tap, from classic to more sought-after varieties. A true showcase of the Lombard brewing scene.

Food and Music

To accompany the pints, a cuisine that blends Bavarian and Italian tradition: beer-braised pork knuckle, spätzle, pulled pork, grilled dishes, fried foods, gourmet sandwiches, and warm pretzels. Every evening, starting at 9 PM, a different band takes the stage, playing rock, 90s tributes, covers, and theme songs that get audiences of all ages singing along.

A Pro Loco Festival

The event is organized by the Pro Loco Solbiate Olona, which manages the setup of the Via San Vito festival area with tables, stage, kitchen, and ample parking. Admission is free, in the true spirit of a town festival. Solbiate a Tutta Birra is now a classic of the northwestern Lombardy summer, capable of attracting visitors from all over the Olona Valley and the Bustese area.
