About Soave Village of Nativity Scenes
Soave Dresses Up for Christmas
Every year, from the Immaculate Conception until mid-January, Soave (Verona) transforms into a large, widespread nativity scene. Soave Village of Nativity Scenes and Christmas Magic is a journey of faith, art, history, and community that crosses the entire Scaliger village, organized by the Municipality of Soave and the Department of Tourism with the Pro Loco and the support of the Veneto Region.
Nativity Scenes and Christmas Park
Along the streets of the center and extending to the hamlets of Costeggiola, Castelcerino, Fittà, and Castelletto, dozens of nativity scenes are set up, while the Parco della Rimembranza hosts the Soave Christmas Park: a Ferris wheel, Christmas train, Santa Claus Village, ice rink, and illuminations. Nativity scene exhibitions and dioramas complete the route in the village churches.

With the illuminated Scaliger Castle and medieval walls, Soave at Christmas is one of the most evocative destinations in the province of Verona for those seeking the festive atmosphere.
Soave Village of Nativity Scenes — edition 2026
The event repeats every year with the inauguration on December 8th. The detailed program for the 2026-2027 edition will be announced closer to the holidays. The traditional format includes nativity scenes spread from the walls to the historic center and to the hamlets, the Soave Christmas Park with a Ferris wheel and ice rink, nativity scene exhibitions in churches, markets, and Christmas concerts.

Traditional structure: inauguration on December 8th with the lighting of the Tree at Porta Verona, Mass, and Christmas Concert at the Cathedral of San Lorenzo; widespread nativity scenes in the village and in the hamlets of Costeggiola, Castelcerino, Fittà, and Castelletto; Soave Christmas Park at Parco della Rimembranza with Ferris wheel, Christmas train, Santa Claus Village, and ice rink; nativity scene and diorama exhibitions.
