Sheep Sauce Gnocchi Festival

The 2025 edition, the twentieth of the event, confirmed the formula that has made the festival one of the most anticipated May Day appointments in Ciociaria. On the meadow of the Madonna del Campo Sanctuary, one kilometer from the center of Vico nel Lazio, the Madonna del Campo Committee stands opened at 12:30 PM, serving handmade gnocchi with sheep sauce or ragù, grilled mutton and sausages, asparagus frittata, fava beans with pecorino, and dessert.

The milestone of the twentieth edition highlighted the festival's deep roots in the local community: a day of open-air conviviality that combines devotion to the country sanctuary, the traditional pastoral cuisine of the Ernici Mountains, and the May Day outing, attracting visitors from across the Frosinone province.
