A month of widespread celebration
The Settembre Offanenghese is the major town event that enlivens Offanengo throughout the month of September. Offanengo is a municipality in the province of Cremona, a few kilometres from Crema. Shows, exhibitions, sports, music, dialect theatre, and cultural initiatives follow one another for weeks, involving the entire town in a very busy schedule.
The Fiera della Madonna del Pozzo
The heart of the event is the Fiera della Madonna del Pozzo, linked to the Santuario della Madonna del Pozzo (Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Well) of the same name, a place of devotion dear to the Offanengo community. The fair begins with the opening of exhibitions in the multi-purpose hall of the oratory and continues with the official inauguration in the presence of civil, political, and religious authorities, marking the central week of September.
A community event
The Settembre Offanenghese is organised by the Settembre Offanenghese Committee together with the Pro Loco, the museum of rural civilisation, the library, sports clubs, and the numerous associations of the town. It is the most complete expression of Offanengo's associative life: a month in which the town in the Cremasco region showcases its energies, from culture to sport, from devotion to popular traditions.

Throughout September 2026, the Settembre Offanenghese returns to liven up Offanengo with a month of shows, exhibitions, sports, music, and dialect theatre. The central week is dedicated to the Fiera della Madonna del Pozzo, with the opening of exhibitions in the multi-purpose hall of the oratory and the official inauguration in the presence of authorities.
The complete program will be presented by the Settembre Offanenghese Committee in collaboration with Pro Loco, the museum, the library, and the town's associations in the weeks preceding the event.
