A spring festival of flowers, flavors, and creativity in the heart of Serravalle Scrivia
Serravalle con Gusto is the event that brings the historic center of Serravalle Scrivia to life every spring. Located in the province of Alessandria, Piedmont, at the gateway to the Scrivia Valley, this lively town hosts a festival born to celebrate local produce, craftsmanship, and community spirit. In just a few editions, it has become one of the most anticipated events of the season, attracting visitors from across the Alessandria area and the nearby provinces of Genoa and Pavia.
Each edition revolves around a central theme: for 2026, the focus was «Flowers, flavors, creations». The town's squares and streets fill with color thanks to floral displays, while food and wine stalls offer tastings of local specialties, wine, and street food. The atmosphere is typical of Piedmontese festivals: genuine, welcoming, and family-friendly.
The festival is also designed for children, with free bouncy castles, face painting, and entertainment throughout the day, while a DJ set provides the soundtrack in the afternoon. It is the perfect occasion for a Sunday in the open air, strolling among the stalls, tasting local specialties, and meeting the many associations that bring the Serravalle community to life.
Serravalle con Gusto was born from the collaboration between the Municipality of Serravalle Scrivia (Department of Commerce) and local associations: Pro Loco, AUSER «Insieme per Serravalle», Amici dell'Arte, and the Fiat 500 Club Italia. This network of volunteers and local entities gives the festival its authentic character, rooted in the traditions of Lower Piedmont and the desire for community typical of the region's village festivals.
The fourth edition of Serravalle con Gusto, originally scheduled for May 10 and then postponed to Sunday, June 7, 2026, brought the center of Serravalle Scrivia to life around the theme «Flowers, flavors, creations». Stands opened at 10:00 am in Piazza Paolo Bosio and along Via Brodolini.
The event, with free admission, was promoted by the Department of Commerce of the Municipality of Serravalle Scrivia together with Pro Loco, AUSER «Insieme per Serravalle», Amici dell'Arte, and the Fiat 500 Club Italia.
