About Segrate Carnival
The city's Carnival
The Segrate Carnival is one of the most beloved festivals for families in the Municipality of Segrate, in the Province of Milan. Every year, during the carnival period, the city streets fill with confetti, costumes, and joy, with a grand masked parade open to everyone.
From Cascina Commenda to the square
The masked procession starts from the parking lot of Cascina Commenda, on Via Amendola, and crosses the city streets until it reaches Piazza San Francesco, the vibrant heart of the festival. Here, amidst music and entertainment, the most anticipated moment takes place: the contest for the most original masks.
Contest and prizes
The contest includes various categories, from the youngest to adults:
- Mini Baby (0-3 years);
- categories for children and teenagers;
- Adults (18-99 years);
- special prizes for the best couple, family, and most original group.
A community celebration
The Segrate Carnival is born from the synergy between the Pro Loco Segrate and local associations. With DJ sets, 'chiacchiere', and award ceremonies, it's a day of celebration that involves the entire community and welcomes Carnival on the outskirts of Milan.
Segrate Carnival — edition 2026
The Segrate Carnival 2026 takes place on Saturday, February 21st. The festival combines a masked parade through the city streets with a grand party in Piazza San Francesco, featuring a DJ set, entertainment, and the contest for the most original masks. The initiative stems from the synergy between Pro Loco Segrate, CPS Rovagnasco, the cultural association Il Quartiere, and the association SorridiMi.

Day's program
- 2:00 PM — Meeting at the parking lot of Cascina Commenda, Via Amendola;
- 2:30 PM — Departure of the masked procession through the city streets;
- 3:00 PM — Party in Piazza San Francesco with DJ set and entertainment by SorridiMi, distribution of 'chiacchiere' for the little ones;
- following — Parade and award ceremony for the most original masks (categories from Mini Baby 0-3 years to Adults 18-99 years, with special prizes for couples, families, and groups).

Free event and open to everyone. Registration for the mask contest at the Pro Loco's table.
