The Lepini Mountains Beer Festival

The Segni Craft Beer Festival is one of the most anticipated late-summer events in the southern part of the Metropolitan City of Rome. For two nights in early September, Piazza Risorgimento—located in the town center—transforms into a vibrant open-air party, complete with craft beer taps, street food, DJ sets, and live concerts that run late into the night.

Organizers

The event is hosted by the 33 Centilitri APS club, a social promotion association affiliated with ARCI, based on Via Traiana in Segni. Originally established as a local cultural and recreational hub, the association organizes courses, musical evenings, and events throughout the year. The beer festival has become their flagship event: the first edition took place in 2020, and by 2025, the festival reached its sixth edition, boasting a steadily growing audience.

The Beers

The heart of the festival is, of course, the craft beer. The serving stations feature a rotating selection of labels from both Italian and foreign breweries, offering a variety of styles to satisfy both connoisseurs and curious newcomers. Wine and cocktails are also available for those who prefer alternatives to hops.

Street Food and Music

To accompany your pint, there is a wide array of street food: sandwiches, pizza, skewers, and other treats to enjoy at the tables set up in the square. The soundtrack is provided by DJ sets and live bands; the 2025 edition featured DJ Maurizio Messina, the band The Mentos, and for the reggae night, RastaBianco & Phenom from Radici nel Cemento alongside RastaLady. The festival is also a community event: in 2025, it hosted the official presentation of the Segni rugby team.

Segni, a Village in the Lepini Mountains

The Municipality of Segni, in the province of Rome, is an ancient village perched on the Lepini Mountains, famous for its cyclopean walls, acropolis, and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. Attending the festival is also the perfect excuse to discover one of the most interesting historic centers in southern Lazio, less than an hour from Rome. The event is part of the rich calendar of late-summer festivals that animate the Lepini towns between August and September.

2026 Edition

The seventh edition is expected in September 2026 in Piazza Risorgimento. At the moment, the organizers have not yet confirmed the dates or the program: information will be updated as soon as it becomes available on the 33 Centilitri club's channels.
