There is an event that, every summer, lights up the evenings of Misano Adriatico (Province of Rimini, Emilia-Romagna): it is called Scintille and it is the circus-theatre review for families that enlivens Piazza della Repubblica every Monday, from the end of June to the end of August. The artistic curation is by Arcipelago Ragazzi aps, a local association specializing in live performances for young audiences and families.
A stage for acrobats, clowns, and jugglers
The heart of Scintille is the universal language of circus arts and street theatre. On the stage of Piazza della Repubblica, acrobats, clowns, jugglers, tightrope walkers, puppeteers, and marionettists take turns in shows that blend comedy, wonder, and poetry. There are giant bubbles, fire acrobatics, objects that come to life, and magic tricks: every Monday brings a different company and a new story, so the review remains always surprising.
Free and for all ages
One of the strengths of Scintille is the free admission: the shows are designed to engage the little ones without forgetting the adults, in that formula of popular theatre that speaks to everyone. Scintille — edition 2026
For summer 2026, Arcipelago Ragazzi confirms ten free events in Piazza della Repubblica, every Monday at 9:30 PM, from June 29 to August 31. The program alternates shows of clowning, street theatre, juggling, comedy, and magic, with a different company each evening. The lineup concludes with two highly anticipated events: on August 24, the magic of the Combriccola dei Lillipuziani, and on August 31, the clowning of A tuttotondo Spettacoli.
