Edition 2025 — Scaccia Rausana Festival

In 2025, the Scaccia Rausana Festival took place in the historic center of Ragusa, along Via Roma, in its traditional form dedicated to the scaccia co' pummaroru e cosacavaddu. Local bakeries, artisans, and food bloggers enlivened the event with tastings, preparation demonstrations, workshops for children, and live music, confirming the strong bond between this dish and the Iblean identity.

The 2025 edition of the Scaccia Rausana Festival was held in the historic center of Ragusa, along Via Roma, following the formula that gave birth to the event. The absolute star was the Ragusan scaccia co' pummaroru e cosacavaddu, a De.Co. specialty made with durum wheat semolina, tomato, basil, Monti Iblei PDO oil, and Ragusano PDO cheese.

Local bakeries and artisans offered tastings and live preparation demonstrations, accompanied by stories and insights into the culture of taste. There were also workshops dedicated to children, exhibitions, and live music shows that accompanied the days, in an event organized with the support of the Municipality of Ragusa and the Sicilian Region.
