About Savona Half Marathon
Running with a sea view
The Savona Half Marathon is the most important running event in the provincial capital. Its course, along the standard 21.097 km of the half marathon, unfolds along the coastline of the Riviera di Ponente, touching Savona, Albissola Marina, Albisola Superiore, and Vado Ligure, largely overlooking the sea: a fast and scenic route, appreciated by Italian and foreign runners.
A race for everyone
Alongside the competitive half marathon, the event offers the Ten 10K, over ten kilometers, and the Family Run, a non-competitive run open to everyone and families. An inclusive formula that makes the day a true celebration of sport and movement, capable of engaging competitive athletes, amateurs, and simple enthusiasts.
A growing event
The event is part of national running circuits and includes combined rankings with other Riviera races, such as the Imperia Half Marathon. An event that enhances the Savona territory and its coast, combining sport, tourism, and promotion of the Riviera di Ponente.
Savona Half Marathon — edition 2026
The 12th edition of the Savona Half Marathon took place on March 29, 2026, as a make-up for the autumn edition cancelled on November 16, 2025. On the coastal route (Savona, Albissola Marina, Albisola Superiore, Vado Ligure, and return), the half marathon, the Ten 10K, and the Family Run were held. The men's race was won by Laban Kipkemboi. For 2026, an autumn edition is also scheduled for November 15, with a combined ranking with the Imperia Half Marathon.

- Men's half marathon winner: Laban Kipkemboi
Autumn edition — November 15, 2026
- Second race of the season, with combined ranking with the Imperia Half Marathon

By train: Savona station on the Genoa–Ventimiglia line. By car: A10 motorway, Savona exit. Start and finish in Savona, on the seafront.
