Saturdays of Herbs

In 2025, the Traversella festival, in Valchiusella (Turin, Piedmont), was presented in the "Saturdays and Thursdays of Herbs" version. Alongside the classic Saturday afternoons, the Club Amici Valchiusella proposed a series of Thursdays (May 8, 22, 29 and June 5, 12) with an important novelty: the presence of pharmacists to illustrate the active principles of the medicinal herbs gathered and chefs to show their use in the kitchen.

In 2025, the days followed the usual pattern: a guided walk led by the Magistre through the meadows and paths of the valley, a farmhouse snack, and an evening Convivium at the Casette delle Erbe, with dishes based on wild herbs, local cheeses, and jams. An edition that confirmed the deep bond between the Valchiusella community and its botanical and gastronomic heritage.
