The Santo Stefano Festival of Zimella is the village festival of the hamlet of Santo Stefano, in the municipality of Zimella (province of Verona), and boasts a history of over half a century: in 2025, it celebrated its 55th edition. It takes place at the end of August along Via Roma and is organized by the local Pro Loco association.
The festival is marked by evenings of ballroom dancing, the true heart of the event, accompanied by food stands offering traditional Venetian dishes. Not to be confused with the Santo Stefano Carnival (winter parade) or other festivals in the municipality of Zimella: this is the summer festival of the hamlet, a long-standing and strongly identity-forming event for the community.
A popular and free event that draws, generation after generation, the inhabitants of the village and surrounding areas.
Santo Stefano Festival — edition 2026
The Santo Stefano Festival of Zimella 2026 is scheduled for late August in the hamlet of Santo Stefano, along Via Roma. After the 55th edition in 2025, the festival returns with its historic formula: evenings of food stands and ballroom dancing, in a convivial atmosphere that has united the community for over fifty years. The precise dates and the program for the evenings will be announced by the Pro Loco closer to the event.

In 2025, the main evenings took place around August 23-25. The detailed schedule is published by the Pro Loco in the weeks preceding the festival.
