The widespread festival of health, prevention, and wellness in Rome
SaniDays is the largest widespread event in Italy entirely dedicated to health, wellness, and prevention. The festival takes place in Rome, in the heart of the Ostiense district, within the Industrie Fluviali spaces on Via del Porto Fluviale, with activities extending to other locations across the city and the Lazio region. Born from an initiative by SCAI Comunicazione Societร Benefit, the project aims to transform health from a simple service into a shared cultural value, bringing citizens closer to a culture of prevention in an accessible, free, and participatory way.
The second edition is titled "Health that Unites", developed around the concept of "Vital Networks": the connections between territories, professionals, institutions, and innovators that make a more sustainable and accessible healthcare system possible. Health is presented as a common good born from the bond between those who provide care, those who research, and those who communicate science.
In one place, and completely free of charge, visitors can:
The program is organized into thematic areas accompanying the four main days: prevention and One Health, longevity and quality of life, mental health and psychological well-being, and daily wellness. Significant space is also dedicated to healthcare innovation, digital health, telemedicine, and artificial intelligence applied to medicine, as well as topics of inclusion, gender health, and new generations. There is also a moment dedicated to innovation with the Pitch Day, the competition reserved for startups in the health sector.
With the patronage of Roma Capitale and the involvement of numerous organizations, associations, and entities from the Lazio healthcare world, SaniDays has established itself as a reference point for medical outreach and the promotion of healthy lifestyles. After the success of the first edition, which recorded over twenty thousand participants, the event confirms its vocation: putting prevention at the center, involving citizens, families, and young people in a collective journey of awareness and care.
From May 20 to 23, 2026, the Industrie Fluviali in Rome hosted the second edition of SaniDays, the widespread event dedicated to health and prevention, under the patronage of Roma Capitale. The theme, "Health that Unites", was developed around the idea of "Vital Networks": the connections between territories, professionals, and institutions at the service of collective well-being.
The four days were marked by as many thematic areas: prevention and One Health, longevity, mental health, and daily wellness. There was ample space for healthcare innovation, digital health, telemedicine, and artificial intelligence in medicine, with talks, round tables, practical workshops, free screenings, and personalized consultations. Numerous communicators and creators of scientific communication were also present.
Among the most anticipated events were the Pitch Day, the competition dedicated to health startups, and the many demos and experiential activities that enlivened the Industrie Fluviali spaces. All events were open and free, designed for citizens, families, and young people.
Each day offered talks with doctors and specialists, bookable prevention screenings, practical workshops, personalized consultations, and meetings with science communicators. The detailed program with times and speakers is published on the official website sanidays.it.
The main venue is at Industrie Fluviali, at Via del Porto Fluviale 35, in the Ostiense district of Rome. The area is well served by public transport: Metro B Piramide stop, Roma Ostiense station, and numerous bus and tram lines. Roma Ostiense railway station conveniently connects the city center and Fiumicino Airport.
Access to all events is free. Talks, screenings, and consultations may require booking: it is recommended to check the program and registration procedures on the official website sanidays.it.
