A village festival that has been running for almost half a century
The Manifestazione Sanfioranese is one of the most established events in the calendar of Villasanta, a municipality in the province of Monza and Brianza. It all began in 1977, when the parish community of the San Fiorano neighbourhood created a festival that, year after year, has become a landmark for the entire town. The motto accompanying the event, «Vivere è danzare» (To live is to dance), well conveys the popular and family spirit of a festival made by volunteers for the neighbourhood.
What to expect
The Sanfioranese takes place over several evenings, typically concentrated between late May and early June, with the parish hall kitchen open every evening. Around the food stalls, there is a programme of musical and dancing evenings, concerts by local bands, DJ sets for dancing, inflatables and entertainment for the little ones, as well as moments dedicated to sport and games. In recent years, the festival has renewed its format by focusing on youth involvement, with spaces and music competitions designed for the new generations.
Where and when
The heart of the festival remains the area of the Parish of San Fiorano, in the neighbourhood of the same name in Villasanta. The 47th edition is scheduled for 2026: an opportunity to rediscover the convivial atmosphere of an authentic village festival, just a few kilometres from Monza and the Monza Park.

The 2026 edition of the Manifestazione Sanfioranese, the 47th in its history, is scheduled in Villasanta from June 1 to 7, 2026. As tradition dictates, the festival enlivens the area of the Parish of San Fiorano with its kitchen open every evening, musical and dancing evenings, moments for families and children. The event is part of a busy early June calendar of initiatives in Villasanta, including the Festa del Parco La Ghiringhella.

How to get there
Villasanta is located in the province of Monza and Brianza, bordering the Monza Park. By car, it can be reached from the SS36 or the Tangenziale Est of Milan; by train, the Villasanta station is on the Monza–Molteno–Lecco line.
