A race in the name of San Tito
The San Tito Evening Running Race is a deeply felt event in Casorate Sempione, a municipality in the Province of Varese located near Malpensa Airport. The race is named after the town's patron saint, San Tito, and is traditionally held at the end of May, transforming the streets of the center into a running course illuminated by the evening light.
Five kilometers of sport and participation
The event features a 5 km race on city streets, a popular race open to everyone that attracts hundreds of athletes — around eight hundred in the most attended editions. There are also races for children (youth categories), designed to involve the youngest with commemorative medals. The race also serves as the Vittorio Magnoni Memorial, in memory of a much-loved member of the association.
A community celebration
More than just a race, the San Tito Race is a village festival: a food stand accompanies the evening, and residents are invited to fill the streets to cheer on the participants. Organized by Atletica Casorate with the patronage of the Municipality, the event embodies the spirit of collaboration and community warmth that keeps sport alive in Casorate Sempione, in the heart of the Varese region.
San Tito Race — edition 2026
The 2026 edition, the 19th, of the San Tito Evening Running Race is held in Casorate Sempione between Thursday, May 28, and Friday, May 29, also as the 5th Vittorio Magnoni Memorial. The protagonist is the 5 km popular race on city streets, with approximately 800 athletes expected, preceded by races for children. The food stand is active throughout the evening. Organized by Atletica Casorate with the patronage of the Municipality.

Thursday, May 28
- 7:00 PM — Gathering and registration at the Festa Area, Via Roma
- 7:30 PM — Youth races Under 13 on the athletics track, with commemorative medals
Friday, May 29
- Around 8:15 PM — Start of the 5 km popular race open to all, from Via Roma with arrival at the athletics track
- Via Roma closed to traffic from approximately 7:45 PM to 9:00 PM
Food stand active throughout the evening.
