The San Rocco Festival takes place every year in mid-August in the hamlet of Forette in Vigasio, in the province of Verona. With over fifty years of history, it is one of the most established summer festivals in the Bassa Veronese, capable of attracting residents and many visitors from neighboring municipalities to Piazza Unità d'Italia.
Six Evenings of Music and Taste
The program is spread over six evenings, from Wednesday to Monday around August 16th, the day of San Rocco. The food stand offers Veronese traditional specialties, while the stage hosts musical evenings, country dancing, and entertainment shows. Among the most characteristic events are the singing contests Forettefestival, for those over 16, and «Ti canto una canzone», dedicated to those under 16.
The Committee for Forette San Martino
The festival is organized by the Committee for Forette San Martino, which manages the entire event and supports the hamlet's activities with the proceeds. The feast combines the religious dimension linked to San Rocco with popular conviviality, in a formula that enhances the community of Forette and the territory of Vigasio.

The San Rocco Festival is expected in mid-August 2026 in Piazza Unità d'Italia, in the hamlet of Forette di Vigasio, around the day of San Rocco (August 16th). Six evenings with a food stand, musical evenings, country dancing, and the traditional singing contests.
