The San Michele Festival is the patronal feast of Vigasio, a municipality in the Bassa Veronese region, dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel. It takes place at the end of September and is the most anticipated event of the year for the community, attracting thousands of people from the town and surrounding areas of the province of Verona.
Seven evenings of music and tradition
The festival spans several evenings held in Piazzale dei Fanti, viale Bassini — in the municipal garden «L'Amore dei Tre Re» — and the piazza of the Circolo Noi. The program features disco nights with DJs, cover bands, group dances, and entertainment, while the funfair and stalls liven up the festival grounds. Traditional food stalls offering local specialties are open every evening.
Organization and community
The event is organized by the association El mul – Social Promotion Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Vigasio. In addition to being a popular festival, the sagra maintains a strong connection with the religious tradition of the patron saint and with local community life, from sports team presentations to family events.

The San Michele Festival, Vigasio's patronal feast, is expected at the end of September 2026, around the feast day of Saint Michael the Archangel (September 29th). The festival takes place between Piazzale dei Fanti, viale Bassini, and the piazza of the Circolo Noi, with evenings of music, dancing, a funfair, and food stalls.
