San Martino and the flavours of autumn
San Martino tra i sapori d'autunno is the festival that the Pro Loco Paese APS dedicates each year to the San Martino commemoration, promoting the typical autumn products of the Municipality of Paese, in the province of Treviso. The absolute protagonists are kiwi — a symbolic crop of the area — and chestnuts.
Stalls, flavours and exhibitions along the streets of the centre
The event takes place along the streets of the centre — Viale Panizza, Via Roma, Piazza Andreatti and Via Battisti — with stalls, an exhibition of local seasonal products and food stands. There are also themed exhibitions related to the figure of San Martino and a review dedicated to the fellow citizens who participated in the Great War, combining gastronomy, culture, and memory.
Part of the "Delizie d'Autunno" circuit
The event is part of the "Delizie d'Autunno" circuit, promoted by UNPLI Treviso, which brings together autumn sagre (local festivals) and festivals dedicated to typical products in the Marca trevigiana. An event that celebrates the identity of the territory during the San Martino period, traditionally linked to the flavours and colours of the Veneto autumn.
