The Sagra di San Mauro is the great autumn festival of Castagnole, a hamlet in the Municipality of Paese, in the province of Treviso. It is organized by the Parish of San Mauro Martire and takes place in Via Casanova, in the very heart of the hamlet which also hosts other events like Fora Fase in the summer.
Heated gastronomic stand and many evenings
The heart of the festival is the heated gastronomic stand, open every evening from 7:00 PM, with house specialties and a published menu. The evenings, starting from 9:00 PM, offer a varied program: live music, DJ sets, tribute bands, covers of cartoon theme songs, ballroom and Latin-American dancing, and "Party 90-2000" themed nights.
Amusement park, lottery, and community
Adding to the festival's appeal are the amusement park — with the Sunday promotion "2 tickets for the price of 1" from 2:00 PM — and the charity lottery in support of the parish. With over forty years of history, the Sagra di San Mauro is a deeply rooted event that draws residents and visitors from the Marca Trevigiana throughout the month of November.
