The 2025 San Lorenzo Festival in Sover

The 2025 edition of the San Lorenzo Festival was held in Sover during the weekend of August 9th and 10th, on the occasion of the patron saint's feast. The event was organized by the Sover Alpini Group together with community volunteers.

Saturday evening kicked off the festivities with the opening of the kitchen and food stalls: fried fish, grills, and traditional dishes, accompanied by live music and dancing in the square until late. Sunday was dedicated to the religious aspect, with Holy Mass and a procession through the streets of the historic center, followed by traditional cuisine featuring stew, polenta, canederli, tripe, grilled meats, and strauben desserts. The timing close to August 10th linked the festival to the night of Saint Lawrence and the shooting stars, in one of the most evocative corners of the Cembra Valley.
