A spring fair in the heart of Salorno

The San Giuseppe Fair / Market, accompanied by the Salorno Slow Market, is one of the most anticipated spring events in the municipality of Salorno sulla strada del vino (Salurn an der Weinstraße), the southernmost village in South Tyrol and the final stop on the famous South Tyrolean Wine Road. Every year, around the feast of Saint Joseph (March 19), the streets and squares of the historic center transform into a large open-air market that attracts countless visitors from across the Province of Bolzano and the nearby Trentino region.

A hundred stalls among historic facades

The heart of the event consists of approximately one hundred stalls distributed throughout the historic center. The selection is vast, ranging from clothing and footwear to toys, gardening supplies, and an endless array of typical South Tyrolean specialties. All of this takes place in a charming architectural setting, with Renaissance and Baroque buildings that make the village of Salorno a true sight to behold.
