The Wind Orchestra of the Bassanese Philharmonic for the city's patron saint
The San Bassiano Concert is the event with which the Bassanese Philharmonic celebrates the patron saint of Bassano del Grappa, in the province of Vicenza, every year. The evenings take place at the Sala Jacopo da Ponte and feature the Philharmonic's Wind Orchestra as the protagonist.
Conducted by Maestro Davide Pauletto, the orchestra offers a deliberately eclectic program: from Brahms' dances to symphonic rock, up to great pop hits like those by Coldplay. A repertoire designed to engage a wide audience of all ages.
One of the evenings is also dedicated to young musicians from ClassBand, demonstrating the Philharmonic's commitment to the musical education of the young. Admission is free, with mandatory reservation, and the event is part of the calendar of celebrations for the patron saint.
