The San Barto Party is the festival that every year enlivens the summer of Bagnaria, a village in the Valle Staffora in the Province of Pavia, on the occasion of the feast of the patron saint Saint Bartholomew, celebrated on August 24th. Organised by the Pro Loco of Bagnaria, it is an evening designed for getting together and spending time together, with good food and music.
Dinner and dancing night
The event is held at the Municipal Sports Field and begins in the evening with a fixed-menu dinner featuring traditional dishes: mixed starters with typical cured meats and cheeses, a first course such as homemade ravioli with braised meat, a second course of roast beef with a side dish, and homemade cakes. After dinner, the party continues with a DJ set for dancing until late at night.
A community event
More than just an event, the San Barto Party is a moment of socialising that links the village to its religious and popular tradition. Its informal and convivial formula makes it an opportunity to discover Bagnaria's hospitality and the summer atmosphere of the villages in the Alto Oltrepò Pavese, in Lombardy.

For the 2026 edition, the Pro Loco of Bagnaria renews its summer event linked to the patron saint Saint Bartholomew. At the Municipal Sports Field, the evening will return with a fixed-menu dinner of traditional dishes, followed by music and a DJ set for dancing. The precise date and programme details will be announced by the Pro Loco in the weeks preceding the event, around August 24th.
