Edition 2025 — Ciciri e Tria Festival

The 2025 edition of the Salice DOC Wine and Ciciri e Tria Festival took place on July 25th and 26th on the outer courtyard of the Cantina Cooperativa in Salice Salentino. Two evenings dedicated to ciciri e tria and local Negroamaro DOC wine, featuring stands with typical, organic, DOC, and IGP products, and a rich program of folk music with pizzica and local artists. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Salice Salentino APS, promoted the municipality's cultural heritage through the Mediterranean diet.

Salice DOC Wine and Ciciri e Tria Festival 2025

The 2025 edition was held on July 25th and 26th on the outer courtyard of the Cantina Cooperativa of Salice Salentino (LE), organized by the Pro Loco of Salice Salentino APS. The stars were the ciciri e tria — fresh pasta partly fried in extra virgin olive oil and partly boiled, mixed with chickpeas — accompanied by the local Negroamaro DOC wine.

Throughout the evenings, local companies were present with organic, DOC, and IGP products (pasta, wine, eggs, olive oil), reflecting the festival's goal: to enhance the historical and cultural heritage of the municipality by promoting the Mediterranean diet. There was no shortage of pittule, horse meat, grilled vegetables, and honey-based desserts along the culinary path set up in the town center.
