The patronal feast of Sospirolo

The Saint Peter's Festival is the patronal feast of Sospirolo, in the province of Belluno, and is celebrated on June 29th, the liturgical day of Saints Peter and Paul. The village parish church is dedicated to these two apostles: the current church was completed in 1898 and consecrated by Giuseppe Sarto, then a cardinal and later Pope Pius X, a historical connection of which the community is proud.

Between faith and community

The occasion is marked by religious celebrations in honour of Saint Peter the Apostle, the village's patron saint, accompanied by moments of celebration and community gathering.
