Saint Martha in Carate Urio

Every year, on the Sunday closest to July 29th, the village of Carate Urio, on Lake Como, dedicates a festival to Saint Martha, a figure greatly venerated in local tradition. It is one of the most popular events of the Carate summer, drawing residents and visitors alike to the small church named after the saint.
