The ancient spring fair of Lendinara
The Saint Mark's Fair in Lendinara, in the province of Rovigo, is one of the oldest events in the Polesine region, with a history spanning several centuries. It takes place annually around April 25th, Saint Mark's Day, and transforms the town's historic center into a large open-air market, enlivened by stalls, flowers, agri-food products, crafts, and handmade goods.
Alongside the market, the program features the traditional Vintage Tractor Rally, a gathering of historic tractors (particularly those manufactured before 1970), the static exhibition of vintage cars, Civil Protection demonstrations, and cultural events such as the spring concert at the Ballarin Theater. A funfair, much loved by families, is also present.
Coinciding with the celebrations for the Anniversary of the Liberation, the Saint Mark's Fair is Lendinara's true spring event: a weekend that combines market, traditions, engines, culture, and entertainment, organized by the Pro Loco of Lendinara in the heart of the Municipality (province of Rovigo).
The 2026 edition spans two days, Saturday, April 25th, and Sunday, April 26th, in the center of Lendinara. Featuring a market, flowers, vintage tractor rally, vintage cars, funfair, and cultural and civic events, it is the major spring gathering organized by the Pro Loco of Lendinara.
Lendinara is located in the Alto Polesine area, accessible via the SS434 Transpolesana highway and the Verona-Rovigo railway line (Lendinara station). The fair takes place in the historic center.
Free admission to the market and events. Funfair with paid attractions.
