The Centenaro Festival

Among the hamlets of Lonato del Garda, in the province of Brescia, Centenaro celebrates its summer event, the Saint Louis Festival. A feast that, as often happens in the towns of Garda, intertwines religious and convivial dimensions, animating the spaces of the Parish of Beata Maria Vergine del Rosario, on Via Centenaro, for a few days. For 2026, the festival is scheduled from July 10th to 13th.

A Festival for the Whole Family

The program is designed to involve all ages: food stalls with traditional dishes, bouncy castles for children, tournaments, and music to accompany the evenings. A simple and proven formula that makes the festival a meeting point for the hamlet and surrounding towns, during the liveliest period of the Garda summer.

Like many hamlet festivals, Centenaro's also originated around the oratory and parish, the driving force of local community life. It is the volunteers, parishioners, and families who build the festival, taking care of the food, games, and hospitality: a concrete example of how the small communities of the Brescia side of Garda manage to keep their traditions alive.
