The feast of the patron saint Peter in Piazza Aiserey, with orchestras, cover bands, and food
In the heart of the Crema summer, Moscazzano โ a small municipality in the Province of Cremona โ celebrates its patron saint, Saint Peter the Apostle, with Sagra#insieme. The event takes place on the second Sunday of July and transforms the central Piazza Aiserey into the town's open-air living room for an entire weekend.
The program focuses on live music and good food. Saturday is dedicated to ballroom dancing and the great hits of the '60s, '70s, and '80s with an orchestra; Sunday opens with a musical aperitif and continues with a rock cover band that gets the crowd dancing late into the night. Both evenings are accompanied by a food and bar service, managed in collaboration with local entities, allowing attendees to enjoy traditional dishes between musical sets.
Sagra#insieme is an entirely civic and community event, distinct from the religious Feast of the Madonna dei Prati which takes place at the sanctuary in the second half of July. It is organized by the municipal administration together with the Youth Group for Theatre and Moscazzano Style, associations that dedicate their efforts each year to offering the town a festive event open to everyone, from the youngest to families.
In a village in the Crema region, the patron saint's feast remains the moment when the entire community gathers in the square, a sign of a still vibrant and engaged village identity.
In 2026, Moscazzano's Sagra#insieme celebrates the patron saint Peter on the weekend of the second Sunday of July. Piazza Aiserey hosts two evenings of celebration: Saturday is dedicated to the dance orchestra playing hits from the '60s to the '80s, and Sunday opens with a musical aperitif followed by a rock cover band. Both evenings are accompanied by the food stand. The final program will be announced by the municipal administration and organizing associations in the weeks prior.
The program follows the pattern of recent editions:
Final dates, artists, and times to be confirmed by the organizers.
