The Ferragosto festival in Vittadone
Vittadone is a hamlet of Casalpusterlengo, a municipality in the Province of Lodi, and every August 15th it becomes the heart of a village festival that attracts residents and holidaymakers. It's one of those summer festivals that preserve the authentic spirit of the communities of the lower Lombardy region, where Ferragosto is celebrated together, between church, communal tables, and dancing.
From mass to the food stand
The day opens in the morning with the Solemn Holy Mass, at 9:30 AM, the central religious moment of the festival. In the evening, the sports field in Via della Vittaria comes alive with the "Pan e Salam" food stand, managed with the support of local sports associations: simple and genuine traditional dishes, to be enjoyed outdoors in company.
Dancing under the stars
After dinner, it's time for dancing, with music by Gianmario's orchestra getting couples onto the dance floor until late at night. There are also moments of tasting and entertainment, in a festive atmosphere that pleases all generations.

Despite being the festival of a hamlet, the Sagra di Vittadone is a cherished event of Ferragosto in Casalpusterlengo. Free entry and the family atmosphere make it a perfect opportunity to discover village life in the Province of Lodi in the heart of summer.

In 2026, the hamlet of Vittadone will once again celebrate its Ferragosto festival on August 15th. The program, with both religious and popular elements, includes the Solemn Holy Mass in the morning, the "Pan e Salam" food stand in the evening at the Via della Vittaria sports field, and dancing with an orchestra.
Detailed schedules will be announced by the organizers closer to the event.
Programme Sagra di Vittadone 2026
The festival follows the usual program for August 15th:
- 9:30 AM — Solemn Holy Mass;
- From 8:00 PM — opening of the "Pan e Salam" food stand at the sports field, with the support of local sports associations;
- From 9:00 PM — dancing evening with Gianmario's orchestra.
