The Sunday of Antiques

There is one Sunday a month when Piazza Castello, in Lodi, changes its appearance. Exhibitors' stalls are set up along the square and Viale Dante, and the centre transforms into a large open-air market dedicated to antiques and collectibles. It is the monthly event organised by the Pro Loco of Lodi, now a fixed part of the city's calendar.

What to Find

Among the stalls, you can travel from one world to another: vintage furniture, prints and paintings, used and antique books, ceramics, coins and postcards, vintage items, and curiosities of all kinds. A paradise for collectors, but also for those simply looking for a special piece for their home or who love to browse in search of unexpected bargains.

A Monthly Event

The market is held on the first Sunday of every month, with the exception of January and August, from the early morning hours (from 8:00 AM) until the afternoon. A regular schedule that makes it a pleasant habit for the people of Lodi and an opportunity for visitors from the surrounding areas, capable of animating the heart of the capital of the Lombard province of the same name even outside of major events.

More than just a market, the initiative reflects the spirit of safeguarding ancient local traditions that animates the Pro Loco of Lodi. Strolling among the stalls also means rediscovering pieces of history and material culture of the territory, in one of the most beautiful and evocative squares in the city.
