Pernumia's patron saint festival at the end of summer, with food stalls, orchestras, and a funfair
The Sagra di Sant'Agostino is the end-of-summer festival in Pernumia, a town in the Bassa Padovana region in the province of Padova. An annual event traditionally held in early September, it is organized by Pro Loco Pernumia in collaboration with the Municipality and the parish, and it blends the religious dimension of the patron saint festival with the popular and convivial nature of a village fair.
The heart of the festival is the food stall, serving traditional Venetian dishes every evening. The evenings are enlivened by orchestras and DJs for dancing, while a charity raffle, tombola, and the funfair for children surround the event. There's also a fireworks display, an unmissable moment at Venetian sagre (festivals).
More than just a food event, the Sagra di Sant'Agostino is an event of identity for Pernumia: the occasion when the town comes together at the end of summer, to the sound of orchestras and the aroma from the food stall. A festival that captures the spirit of the communities of the Bassa Padovana, combining faith, tradition, and the desire to be together.
Located between Monselice and Battaglia Terme, Pernumia is a good starting point for exploring the Euganean Hills, the spas of Abano and Montegrotto, and the walled villages of the Paduan plain. The festival is an opportunity to combine the discovery of the territory with the authentic hospitality of the Venetian Pro Loco associations.
The 2026 edition of the Sagra di Sant'Agostino will once again feature the traditional end-of-summer festival in Pernumia, organized by the Pro Loco with the Municipality and the parish. With a food stall serving traditional Venetian cuisine, dancing evenings with orchestras and DJs, a charity raffle, tombola, a funfair, and a fireworks display, the festival will bring the community together in early September. The precise dates are published by Pro Loco Pernumia shortly before the event.
The detailed 2026 program will be announced by Pro Loco Pernumia in the weeks leading up to it. The festival traditionally follows this structure:
