A Centuries-Old Fair in the Heart of the Conselvano Region
The Fiera di Sant'Agostino is one of the oldest and most prestigious fairs in the Veneto region. Its origins date back to the 14th century, when it was established by the will of the Republic of Venice: since then, the fair has been renewed every year in Conselve, in the Bassa Padovana area of the province of Padova, reaching the extraordinary figure of 447 editions in 2026.
The Fair Village
For about twelve days, spanning late August and early September, Conselve transforms into a large Fair Village: food stalls offering local flavours, agricultural and craft exhibitions, conferences and debates with prominent guests, concerts, shows, and a large funfair. The fair combines the commercial and agricultural dimensions of its origins with the character of a popular festival, capable of attracting tens of thousands of visitors.
Miss World, Concerts, and Fireworks
Among the most popular events are the provincial selection for Miss World Italy for the Veneto region, held in Piazza Cesare Battisti during the fair, the major evening concerts, and the final fireworks display that concludes the event. The 2025 edition, the 446th, took place from August 27th to September 7th with the theme "An Olympic Work," a tribute to the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
Organization and Tradition
The fair is organized by Pro Loco Conselve APS together with the Municipality of Conselve and the Trade District. The 2026 edition is confirmed by the calendar of festivals and fairs of the Union of Municipalities of Conselvano.
Fiera di Sant'Agostino — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Fiera di Sant'Agostino, the 447th, will liven up Conselve between late August and early September, following the historical pattern (from the last Wednesday of August to the first Monday of September, approximately twelve days). The fair is confirmed by the calendar of sagre and fairs 2026 of the Union of Municipalities of Conselvano. The Fair Village will feature food stalls, conferences, concerts, exhibitions, a funfair, the Miss World selection for the Veneto region, and final fireworks.
