The Sagra di Santo Stefano di Zimella is the village festival of the hamlet of Santo Stefano, in the municipality of Zimella (province of Verona), and boasts a history of over half a century: in 2025, it celebrated its 55th edition. It takes place at the end of August along Via Roma and is organised by the local Pro Loco (local tourism association).
The festival is marked by evenings of ballroom dancing, the true soul of the event, accompanied by food stands serving traditional Venetian dishes. Not to be confused with the Carnevale di Santo Stefano (winter parade) or other festivals in the municipality of Zimella: this is the summer festival of the hamlet, a long-standing and strongly identity-building event for the community.
A popular and free event that draws, generation after generation, the inhabitants of the village and surrounding areas.
Sagra di Santo Stefano — edition 2026
The Sagra di Santo Stefano di Zimella 2026 is scheduled for late August in the hamlet of Santo Stefano, along Via Roma. After the 55th edition in 2025, the festival returns with its traditional format: evenings of food stands and ballroom dancing, in a convivial atmosphere that has united the community for over fifty years. The precise dates and the evening program will be announced by the Pro Loco closer to the event.

In 2025, the main evenings took place around August 23-25. The detailed schedule will be published by the Pro Loco in the weeks preceding the festival.
