Edition 2025 — Sagra della Carpasina

In summer 2025, Carpasio renewed the Sagra della Carpasina, the festival that has celebrated the De.Co. barley bread of pastoral tradition since 1961. Food stalls, tastings, and music animated the village in the upper Argentina Valley, promoting one of Montalto Carpasio's symbolic products.

The 2025 edition confirmed the long tradition of the Sagra della Carpasina in Carpasio, a hamlet of Montalto Carpasio. Through the village streets, the Pro Loco's stalls offered carpasina, the shepherds' De.Co. barley bread, and other valley cuisine dishes, in a day of celebration featuring tastings, conviviality, and music.

The festival reaffirmed the identity value of this product, a symbol of the agro-pastoral civilisation of the upper Argentina Valley and, along with frandura, one of the two De.Co. products that the Municipality has chosen to protect and promote.

Programme

The festival took place in the village of Carpasio with the opening of food stalls dedicated to carpasina and traditional dishes, accompanied by tastings and music.
