Sagra del Porsel e Festa del Lardo

The 2025 edition of the Sagra del Porsel e Festa del Lardo was held in Ossimo Superiore, a hamlet of the Municipality of Ossimo in the province of Brescia, during the Christmas period. The festival celebrated the peasant tradition of Valle Camonica with typical pork-based products: salami, cotechino, lard, guanciale, and pancetta.

Organised by the Pro Loco 'Per Osem', the sagra featured food stalls, workshops, demonstrations of traditional butchery with butchers at work, and musical bands. A deeply identity-driven event, capable of attracting visitors and cured meat enthusiasts to the Brescia mountains and keeping the traditions of the past alive.
