The Sagra del Gnocco is the gastronomic event that celebrates the tradition of handmade gnocchi in Veggiano, a municipality in the province of Padua. Organised by the Pro Loco Veggiano in collaboration with the Parish of Sant'Andrea Apostolo, the festival is one of the most anticipated events of the village summer.
Many sauces, one passion
The star dish is, of course, the hand-rolled gnocchi, served with a rich choice of toppings: from duck ragu to butter and sage, and more delicious variations. The food stall opens in the evening and accompanies the festival evenings with the flavours of Venetian cuisine.
Music, market, and fun
Alongside the food, the Sagra del Gnocco offers music and dancing, a funfair for the little ones, an artisan market, and a charity raffle. A programme designed for all ages, making this festival a gathering point for the community of Veggiano and surrounding villages.

The 2026 edition of the Sagra del Gnocco in Veggiano, confirmed by the Pro Loco, brings back hand-rolled gnocchi with a wide choice of toppings.
In addition to the food stall, the programme features evenings of music and dancing, a funfair for the little ones, an artisan market, and a charity raffle, in collaboration with the Parish of Sant'Andrea Apostolo.
