The cuoppo is the paper cone in which, in the tradition of Southern Italy, fried fish is served to be enjoyed while walking. In Sesto Campano, a municipality in the province of Isernia on the border between Molise and Campania, a summer sagra celebrates the cuoppo of anchovies and potatoes, combining fried anchovies with potatoes in a delicious and popular formula.

The sagra is one of the events in the Sestolese Summer program, the calendar of events that the Municipality of Sesto Campano organizes every year from late June to September.
