A neighbourhood festival in the heart of Borgo Roma
The Sagra del Cristo is one of the most cherished events in the Borgo Roma district, on the southern outskirts of Verona. It takes place in the parish park of Gesù Divino Lavoratore, a green space that for a few days transforms into the neighbourhood's open-air living room: tables, lights, the smell of grilling, and many people gathering after the winter.
What to expect
The heart of the festival is the food and wine stalls, with typical Veronese cuisine dishes served at popular prices, accompanied by bars and convivial spaces. Sagra del Cristo — edition 2026
From May 30 to June 2, 2026, the Borgo Roma district will celebrate its Sagra del Cristo in the parish park of Gesù Divino Lavoratore. Four days of festivities with food stalls, bars, live music, and gathering moments for residents and for those who wish to discover the Verona of the neighbourhoods.

How to get there
Borgo Roma is located in the southern area of Verona, well connected to the centre by ATV urban buses. By car, it is easily reachable from the southern ring road and the Verona Sud toll booth.
